Admiral Court Care Home

We provide both long term and short term care for residents which dementia and residents with mental health problems. Admiral Court has a dedicated team of nurses along with care assistants. We can offer Palliative Care to residents within the home as well as respite care.

Admiral Court is situated in the historical town of Hartlepool, near to the modernised headland. The home has enclosed gardens with a summerhouse and patio, seasonal flowers in abundance, hanging baskets and tubs. Our residents enjoy sitting in the gardens sun bathing, chatting and assisting with the gardening.

The home provides activities on both a one to one basis as well as group sessions based on the residents individual needs and their choice inclusive of socialising with the local community. The home has a varied programme of activities which include handicrafts, assisting with the gardening and trips out to the local public houses.

The staff are very welcoming and warm always offering me a beverage when I visit, they are all extremely pleasant and caring, the home was chosen due to its locality enabling us to visit frequently although we had reservations about my brother having to have full time care in a home we will now recommend this home to anyone in the community that requires looking after

My daughter was transferred from another home on being admitted we noticed that all staff were empathetic, caring and approachable, she is invited to participate in daily activities which she often declines but the activities lady spends time on a one to one with her chatting about her past life and manicuring her nails this she finds fulfilling and relaxing.
