Bangor Care home provides individualised programmes of care for all 94 residents in four separate units. One for frail elderly people, one for people with dementia and two for people with learning disabilities.
The home is tastefully decorated with three courtyards with flowers, fountains, wind chimes etc. There is a peaceful, harmonious atmosphere in the home.
We have a varied range of activities including arts and crafts, board games, tea dances, cookery, gardening and religious services to name but a few.

I began working in the home as a kitchen assistant in 1994. I found that I really loved cooking so I proceeded to develop my skills which resulted in me first being promoted to assistant cook and then to cook in 2007. I am very proud of my achievement and am happy providing good quality, nutritious food to the 94 residents and staff.

Staff were observed attending to the needs of the patients in a timely manner and were sensitive, courteous and gentle in their approach.
