Eastbourne Care Home provides various levels of care. From general nursing care and palliative care to short term respite and rehabilitation. The home has a team of well qualified, experienced nurses and care staff who have excellent standards of 24 hour care.

The home is situated close to Darlington town centre and all of its amenities. It is in close proximity to the railway station, shops, cinema and theatre. Lifestyle & Activities

We have two dedicated personal activities leaders providing activities six days a week. Activities are on a one to one or group basis and include but are not limited to Weekly prize bingo, Quizes, Arts and crafts, Entertainers for special occasions, Regular Church Service provided by St Johns our local church, Pamper Days, Church Lunches, Bowling and Armchair Exercises. Theatre trips and special requests can also be arranged. When the weather is good full use is made of the garden, Walks to the park and to the local shops. We encourage participation in activities by friends and relatives and we welcome local community groups in to provide something different. Recently we have had a Children's Stage School show and a visits from Molly the Therapy Pony.

We work well together as a team

All the staff are very friendly, we have a lovely working atmosphere and we work well together as a team to provide the best individual care for each of our residents. Many of the our staff have been here for a number of years.

The atmosphere in the home was friendly and welcoming. Some people were enjoying chatting with each other: some were listening to music or else reading. People told me the food was lovely.
