Grosvenor Park Care Home

We offer the highest standards of care to older people where the individual needs of each resident are paramount. We offer different levels of care from residential to dementia residential, short break stays to day care. We have a dedicated team of staff who provide excellent 24 hour care.

We are situated near to the new development of Moorfield and the Northern Echo Darlington Arena. Grosvenor Park is a friendly and comfortable home with a choice of large single en-suite bedrooms; we have sensory gardens where residents can enjoy various sounds, smells and sights.

We have a dedicated activity co-ordinator that ensures all residents have something stimulating and enjoyable to look forward to each day, as well as trips shopping in town and local places of interest, entertainment evenings. We also have regular visits from local churches. There are group activities and quiet one to one activities for those who enjoy quiet moments.

I have been the cook at Grosvenor Park since we opened in 2004. I love to cook up new dishes for our residents. We offer a wide variety of dishes and I love to bake cakes and scones which our resident love.

The home is decorated and furnished to a high standard. People living at the home said that they were well cared for by the staff. Comments about the activities were good and people said that the meals were tasty and that there was a good choice available.
