Ratings

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspect and regulate our care homes in England.

Haddon House Care Home Rating: 2 Star - Good Date of last inspection: Jul 8th, 2008

Haddon House provides a comfortable and safe environment for the people living there and has developed a specialist service, based on modern principles, for looking after older people who suffer from dementia. Imaginative touches have been applied to the physical environment of the home and these are aimed at providing stimulation as well as assisting people to find their way around. The staff team are a committed group who work well together to provide a good standard of care for people living in the home. In particular staff have a good understanding of the needs of people with dementia and were observed to be patient, relaxed and professional in the way they communicate and help people retain dignity and individuality.

Since I started at Haddon House a year ago, I have really felt part of the team, there is a lovely atmosphere, the residents and their families are involved in their care, and the residents are cared for as individuals. If my mum or dad had dementia, I would not hesitate to bring them here. Haddon House is the place to go if you are looking to work, or to reside
