These include individual interests as well as group activities, some of these include baking, bread making, gardening (assisting on our own allotment in the garden for home grown fruit and veg), pub lunch in the local once a month, quizzes, outside speakers, trips out (making use of the train) and traditional board games, chair exercise and pub games like table skittles. Younger residents make good use of our computer and internet facilities which they use to stay connected to friends and family all over the world.

Key Staff

Housekeeper

I’ve worked at Yatton Hall for thirteen years and seen many changes and systems, what I like now is it is all about the residents. Even though it is hard work you don’t really notice because the people make it fun and worthwhile. My sister is one of the younger residents and we are really pleased with the care, so I see it from both points of view.

What people say
Mr Fred Keen
"I feel safe."

I like it here, I feel safe. The staff have a laugh and they care about what happens to me. My social worker is trying to get me a package to go home but I don’t really want to because I will be back to square one again. I am better than I’ve been for ages.

Mr & Mrs J Biggs
"Your kindness, support and time were never in short supply."

This comes with our most grateful thanks for all you did to give Mum a safe, comfortable and happy time with you. The care and patience shown by you and all your staff was a credit to you all. The staff were always kind, caring and polite. They always made us welcome, were pleased to see us and happy to chat to us if we had any concerns. You always had our full confidence in the care she received. Our most grateful thanks.
