The Pearl Specialised Dementia Service is provided in Kingston, a purpose built care home. Every detail has been researched to ensure we achieve an environment which will enable the resident to maintain the highest possible level of independence and freedom of choice.

We have ensured that the residents will benefit from the design, layout and excellent facilities provided. All of our rooms are for single occupancy and all are en-suite.

Kingston Care Home is situated in a residential area near to Kingston General Hospital. It is within easy reach of shops, other amenities and public transport.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing 'good' outcomes for its residents.

Location

From the A3
Take the A238 towards Kingston. At the traffic signals, at the corner of Kingston Hospital, continue forward and then turn left into Jemmett Close.

From Kingston Town Centre
Take the A308 (Cromwell Road) towards Kingston Hill (signposted for London, A3). At the traffic signals turn left into London Road and then turn right onto Coombe Road (A238), passing Norbiton station. Then turn right into Jemmett Close.

Facilities

Dementia care is provided at our home within the Pearl Specialised Dementia Service. This means that the environment has been developed and adapted to the needs of residents with dementia and we can offer as much independence and stimulation as possible within safe boundaries.

The expertise of our caring team is to recognise and enable each resident to continue to do the things they enjoy for as long as they can continue to do so. Our programme is based on the theories of ‘person centred care' and all of our care plans are tailored around the residents' needs and capabilities. These are adjusted to provide additional support over time.

Kingston is tastefully decorated and features TV lounges and several quiet sitting rooms, all overlooking the private grounds. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist and a qualified Chiropodist.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

Our chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce.
