We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Nurse to join the multi-skilled team as a Deputy Manager. We provide a high standard of care for elderly nursing and residential clients and for nursing and residential dementia care in our 61 bedded care home.
The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to deputise in the absence of the manager, be pro-active in person centred care and have good management skills.
Rate of pay is £13.00 per hour

South Quay Care Home currently have a vacancy for an experienced and committed Registered Nurse to take up the Deputy Manager's post on the Older Persons nursing care unit.
The successful candidate will take the lead on the clinical care of the clients on the unit and will be involved in the recruitment and supervision of junior staff. They will deputise in the absence of the manager.
This is a full time, permanent, position and the contracted hours per week are 38.5hours. The role is predominately day duty but occasional night duty cover may be required.
An enhanced CRB is required, which the employer will pay for. Applicants must have a current live NMC registration.
The hourly rate is £12.64 but this may be negotiable for an exceptional candidate.
The post attracts 28 days annual leave per annum.
