Maintenance Person
Weekly Hours - 40 Hours
Normally 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
with occasional overtime and emergency call outs.
Pay Rate - £8.60/hour
Qualifications: Should preferably be skilled in the following
i) Heating & Plumbing
ii) Electrical
iii) Joinery
Responsibilities:
The predominant function of the maintenance Person is the upkeep and maintenance of the Care Home's Site, Building, Mechanical & Electrical system, specialist equipment and all of its general contents. The Maintenance Person shall have day to day responsibilities to the Home Manager, particularly in ensuring the smooth operation and serviceability of all heating, lighting, plumbing and all services and non - medical equipment required for the safe and efficient operation of the Home. The Maintenance Person shall also have an on going responsibility to the Regional Manager for the longer term tasks such as refurbishment, non day to day servicing, redecoration etc. This responsibility should also include monitoring of any risk area regarding security and advising of such areas.
