Four Seasons Health Care invite applications for the following position within the Granby Court Care Home, Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Personal Activities Leader required for a residential care home. Working pattern is 40 hours per week worked 5 days over 7.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• To assist residents to socialise within the care home, and provide a variety of activities that cater for all tastes.
• Plan and initiate group/individual programmes, and encourage residents to maintain any pre-existing hobbies and interests.
• To encourage staff members, relatives and friends to participate in care home activities.
• Accompany residents, where possible, to off-site activities, which may occasionally take place outside of working hours (I.e. evenings and weekends)
• Assist with fund raising for entertainments, materials and outings.
Rate of pay: £7.28 per hour. (Weekend rate paid at time and a quarter).
