Earlier this year Four Seasons and Terra Firma, a leading private equity firm, concluded an transaction under which Terra Firma has acquired Four Seasons from the various banks and financial institutions who were our owners. This change in the shareholding structure of our parent company will not have any direct impact on the day to day operations in our homes and specialised care facilities.
The priority is to ensure continuous improvement in quality of care as a precondition for building a successful and sustainable business. Together we intend to grow Four Seasons by both increasing the number of beds we provide and increasing occupancy rates. Terra Firma intends to invest in Four Seasons’ estate over time, to enhance existing properties and potentially to acquire homes and develop new ones.
The senior management of the company share a wealth of experience of delivering care services, in many cases due to lengthy and pre-eminent positions in the caring sector. Four Seasons' experience, expertise and financial strength make it a significant force in the UK healthcare market.
