Short-term Respite Care

We offer short-term respite care in our homes for people who are usually looked after by a relative or carer at home or have been in hospital and require convalescence care following discharge.

Respite stays give home based carers the opportunity to take scheduled holidays or breaks throughout the year. Carers can relax with peace of mind knowing that their relative or patient is in a safe and homely environment with 24-hour care available.

Respite stays also build a relationship between the individual, the carer, the home and staff, that can be beneficial should a more permanent stay at the home become necessary at some point in the future.

We look after people who have varying care and social needs and, to meet these needs, we have well trained and qualified staff in all our homes. People's personal preferences are incorporated into care packages to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Special Benefits
If you take a short term break with Four Seasons, you will arrive at the home to be greeted by a special 'welcome toiletries pack' and have your first hairdressing appointment with our compliments. A daily newspaper of your choice will be made available to you with our compliments for the first week of your stay.

How much does it cost?
The cost will depend on the level of care needed for the individual, plus the length of stay required. The Home Manager will be able to advise you of the cost of the stay. In all circumstances the fee will include:24-hour care, meals, activities, hotel and laundry services. Payment is usually required in advance or at the start of your stay.

How can you book respite care?
Please contact the Home Manager to discuss the dates you require. All bookings are subject to room availability and an assessment of care needs.
