Dr Pete Calveley awarded most outstanding CEO 2009 by Over 50’s Housing Weekly News

Four Seasons CEO Pete Calveley has been recognised as the most outstanding care home CEO 2009 by a leading sector magazine. The accolade from Over 50's Housing News, which was presented at an awards ceremony in London's Park Lane Hotel, was given to Pete Calveley for improvements he has brought about to the business, which have resulted in an improved quality of care to residents.
The UK Over 50s housing sector awards have been created by the UK Over 50s Housing Weekly News in order to provide recognition for those who advance the profitability of the sector, at the same time as improving the customer experience.
The 2009 award was adjudicated by the governing editor of the UK Over 50s Housing Weekly News, a publication which has who has been involved in the industry for 26 years. The Magazine observe and analyse sector trends across the world, as well as anonymously walking through 200-250 UK facilities every 12 months.
Dr Pete Calveley said, "It is an honour to be recognized by a key sector magazine in this way. Four Seasons has focused on improving quality across the board for each and every one of our residents and this has subsequently benefitted our business as a whole.
"This award is not just personal recognition for me, but for the hard work across the group as a whole."
Dr Pete Calveley has over 20 years experience in the healthcare sector and was appointed CEO in April 2008, having held the position of acting CEO since November 2007. Initially he joined Four Seasons Health Care in November 2005 as Primary Care Medical Director, whilst continuing his role as a GP and PCT Executive Chairman in Lincolnshire.
Dr. Calveley has led the quality agenda within the Group, resulting in significant improvements in Four Seasons Health Care's quality ratings and performance.
