Mar 16th, 2011 - Excellent food hygiene at Four Seasons
In the South East Region, 85% of our homes have now been rated by the L.A Environmental Health Teams.
The homes have all been rated as either 4 or 5 star (very good or excellent) for food safety, management and leadership. That is far higher than most dedicated restaurant chains. Another good example of why we are a successful company.
Mar 2nd, 2011 - Uplands Care Home Achieves Beacon Award
Uplands Care Home has successfully passed the Gold Standard Framework Care Homes Accreditation Assessment, and has been awarded the Quality Hallmark Award at Beacon status. Congratulations to everyone on your success. The Quality Hallmark Award has three categories 1st Accreditation, 2nd Commendation and 3rd Beacon Status which is the highest of the awards.
The Award was presented at the Bi-Annual GSFCH Award Ceremony, as part of the celebratory conference on Friday January 21st, at the Mary Ward Centre, London. Arthur the Home Manager and Ololade the Deputy Manager attended the ceremony to pick up their well deserved award.
Arthur commented that “The Gold Standards Framework has dramatically changed the provision of end of life care in Uplands Care Home. The already categorised 'excellent care' has levelled up to an exceptional quality of care. The combined methods, tools and resources has brought together a 'gold standard' care and has enabled people to live well until the last days of life, which is the most fundamental part of the care provided in Four Seasons Health Care.”
The care staff are very good.
