Alcohol Related Brain Damage

At Forebank Care Home, Dundee and Tennent Street, Belfast we offer dedicated and innovative units which provide short and long term care for sufferers of alcohol related brain damage. Ailments addressed include Korsakoffs Psychosis and Wernicks Syndrome, which are amongst the many physical and mental ailments that can stem from alcohol misuse.

The Team

Recovery is assisted by a multi disciplinary team that includes Nurses, Therapists and a Consultant Psychiatrist. This approach is made possible by a high staff-patient ratio.

Adult Mental Illness

This service aims to provide the highest quality assessment and care for patients with short-term mental illness/distress or diagnosed mental illness. This approach to mental illness treatment is multidisciplinary, based on ensuring that therapeutic intervention, psychiatry and education are tailored to meet specific needs.
