Four Seasons Health Care aims to involve and inform all our residents, in all our homes, all of the time about the care and services we deliver.
We will:
- Maintain our residents privacy, dignity and independence.
- Involve residents in decisions about their care, treatment and support, and provide appropriate information about it.
- Support them to understand the care, treatment and support that we provide.
- Be considerate and respectful to them.
- Encourage them to care for themselves where this is possible, and to decide how they want to live their life.
- Encourage them to be involved in how the service is run.
- Have systems in place to gain and review their consent for the care we are providing and act on it.
- Give information about any fees, contracts and terms and conditions, where they are paying for the cost of their care and treatment.
In order to achieve the above we listen to the comments of others including our regulators and those that receive our services and act accordingly to continually improve the service we give.
We do this in a number of ways:
Inspection by our regulators
Our regulators not only register our care homes but inspect them as well. A report of the latest inspection is available on request or can be found on their web site.
Customer views
Each year we issue a survey to all our residents asking them what they think of the service provided. All information is fed back to residents about what we do well, what we could do better and how we will achieve that.
In addition informal comments leaflets are available in the home if anyone wishes to make a comment.
Communication
Our staff will always listen to what residents and their families have to say and will provide them with as much feedback as they practically and legally are able to do.
