Lunan House Care Home, Arbroath

Lunan House Care Home is a carefully converted former hotel, providing continuous and short term care for people with learning disabilities. The accommodation comprises mostly of single rooms, all of which have ample space for personal items. There are also a few rooms available for sharing companions. Assisted baths and showers are also available within the home.

Lunan House is situated in the Lunan Bay area, within five areas of private gardens. It is within reach of shops, other amenities and public transport. Specifically, the towns of Arbroath and Montrose are nearby.

From Arbroath, travel along the A92 for approximately 8 miles and turn right into Hawkhill, signposted for Lunan. Continue to the T-junction and turn left. Follow the road to the bottom of the hill and Lunan House is on the right.

From Montrose, travel along the A92 and turn left after the Tayblast Working Establishment into Hawkhill. Continue as above.

Lunan House has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room. Separate dining areas, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home. There are also two therapeutical rooms.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirement.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.
