Welcome to Beechill Care Home
Here at Beechill Care Home in the outskirts of Belfast, we have easy access to local shops and public transport.
Our charming home has two spacious lounges leading out onto a lovely secluded garden and many residents enjoy relaxing on the patio or taking a stroll on a sunny day.
At Beechill Care Home, residents are considered part of the family. We put their health and happiness at the heart of everything we do, and our dedicated team of nurses and carers actively encourage residents to take part in all decisions - contributing to everything from the way their rooms look to the therapies they receive.
Life at Beechill Care Home
Our activities programme is varied and flexible. Residents are welcome to suggest new activities, which we can adapt to suit their individual needs.
A lot of people living here have an interest in music, which we have found helps them to relax and socialise with other occupants and staff. We encourage all the people living here to continue with their passions and hobbies wherever possible.
I feel at home when I visit my mother and feel confident that she is being well looked after, I wouldn't want her to be anywhere else.
The manager will always spend time taking to you and will help you with any problems you have. I would recommend the home to anyone
Excellent communications on progress and condition. The staff are very friendly and my mum is content.
I can walk in to the Home and feel comfortable. Everybody is always so friendly. It just feels like going to my mums house and I don't worry about going home.
The food is very good and if there is nothing on the menu I like an alternative is always offered. There are snacks and drinks available whenever I want one.
I am always informed of any changes to my mothers care or condition. Its gives me great peace of mind to know she is well cared for
The number and variety of activities provided by the home is excellent.
I don't know how to thank you all enough for the wonderful way in which you cared for my Dad. You made him feel special and loved. You made him happy.

Colleagues from Laurels Lodge Care Home in Woodside, Havencourt Care Home in Stonehaven and Cumbrae Lodge Care Home in Irvine all came together to do a skydive, raising money for residents in their care and Alzheimer's Scotland.
Tracey Rhodes, Resident Experience Facilitator for Scotland, said: "Everyone was really excited for the jump. One of them hadn't even been in a plane, and they completed it, which was a huge accomplishment. They managed to raise £4,000 which is fantastic. Well done everyone."
Congratulations everyone! We’re all proud of you.

We’ll be launching the 2017 Four Seasons Care Awards in the summer. In the meantime, we thought it would be nice to catch up with some of the winners of last year’s awards, to see what it’s been like since they’ve gone back to the floor.
This week we’ll be focusing on Lorraine Kirkpatrick, Regional Manager for Belfast who won the Regional Manager accolade.
Lorraine is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to helping people with mental health issues. Her passion for helping people stemmed from having a family member who suffered from Schizophrenia.
“All I ever wanted was for him to have a better life,” Lorraine told us. “I strongly believe that people with mental illnesses should be encouraged and enabled to live as full lives as possible. I want to do my utmost to help as many people as I can do this.”
Everyone in Northern Ireland celebrated when Lorraine won the prestigious accolade. Lorraine herself was very happy, not only for herself but for all of the teams that she works with. “It was a little bit of recognition for the teams continued respectfulness, being caring and trusting nature which ultimately makes a difference to the people in our care. Which is something I strive to do,” said Lorraine
Since winning the award, Lorraine has been busy developing Four Seasons Mental Health Framework. She’s also visited the Regional Team and homes based in the North East of England sharing best practice and assisting them with regards to the setting up and running of specialised units.
Lorraine added: “I’m not one for the limelight, so being able to go back to work and continue to help my teams and other Four Seasons colleagues to continue to make a difference to the lives of the people we care for is something that makes me very proud to work for this company.”
