Welcome to Bracknell Care Home
Bracknell Care Home, is a beautiful and purpose-built 26 bed nursing home. A family spirit is assured and your potential will be maximised, be it residents, relatives or staff. The team believes in nothing but the best for everyone who connects with our home as we journey with you to create special resident experiences.
At Bracknell Care Home, we provide nursing care to elderly people and physically disabled adults. A registered nurse is on duty all times, supported by well-trained carers. NHS services such as physiotherapy, dental care, and regular GP services are readily available.
Situated in Bracknell, Berkshire, and with pleasant gardens, each room has an en-suite, TV and nurse-call system, and is personalised to its resident's taste. We love people to bring in their own pictures, photos and mementos.
Life at Bracknell Care Home
We encourage outings to restaurants and places of interest including museums. We have regular quizzes, and a weekly happy hour where residents get together with relatives and staff over a glass of wine and nibbles.
Hairdressing and chiropody are available at our home. Our activities coordinator arranges other beauty treatments, such as hand massage and nail painting.
I am very pleased with the level of care and attention my mother has received since being a resident.
Having worked in many care homes I would with confidence say that Bracknell Care Home has high standards and excellent management. My nana feels happy and relaxed here. In my opinion the home would be in my top 2 to recommend. A big thumbs up.
I would be happy to recommend the home to others, as it is a friendly home, and me and my wife are happy here. Staff very nice and helpful.
I'm very happy with the way the management run my home, I feel safe and secure knowing my needs are met.
The staff are so pleasant always smiling, and look after my sister so well in making her comfortable.
I would recommend this care home to anyone as my Mother is very happy and cared for.
After a shaky start having moved from a residential home where she could not longer be cared for as she required nursing support. Mum has been well looked after for the last 2 years.
I would recommend this care home to others - the staff and the whole atmosphere are second to none.
It is a pleasure for myself and my family when we come to visit mum, seeing how happy and contented she is and how well she is being cared for. Many thanks.
My brother has been at this care home for about six to seven years. Our family selected this home because of its family atmosphere. This has held good even today, its a good place to visit.

Colleagues from Laurels Lodge Care Home in Woodside, Havencourt Care Home in Stonehaven and Cumbrae Lodge Care Home in Irvine all came together to do a skydive, raising money for residents in their care and Alzheimer's Scotland.
Tracey Rhodes, Resident Experience Facilitator for Scotland, said: "Everyone was really excited for the jump. One of them hadn't even been in a plane, and they completed it, which was a huge accomplishment. They managed to raise £4,000 which is fantastic. Well done everyone."
Congratulations everyone! We’re all proud of you.

Living in a care home shouldn’t stop you doing the things you love.
When John came into Bracknell Care Home, he required a little bit of help and support to enable him to complete some routine tasks. However, with further support from the care team and Personal Activities Leader Tasha Corbett, John has managed to overcome a multitude of obstacles and even restarted his old hobby of gardening.
Natsayi Dunira, Home Manager, said: “The difference in John is fantastic. He’s a shining example of how a little bit of help and support can go a long way in someone rehabilitation. He’s now making great progress de-weeding and planting some lovely blooms in our garden. He’s such a happy chap and he’s looking forward to visiting the local park for more garden inspiration.”

There’s been no ‘dabbing’ or hip hop dancing in Bracknell Care Home. Instead residents have been reminiscing about their younger days thanks to Golden Toes Nicole.
Natsayi Dunira, Home Manager, said: “Seated dance helps the residents feel like they can be young again as well as providing fond memories and exercise. Our loved up couple in the house, George and Florence stood us and showcased their moves during a particular dance. It was a lovely sight to behold.”
