A Warm Welcome to Campsie View Care Home in Kirkintilloch
You’ll find Campsie View Care Home is situated in ‘The Canal Capital of Scotland’, Kirkintilloch. We are close to public transport, making us easily accessible for visitors to pop-in for a chat.
Campsie View Care Home is only a short drive from Glasgow city centre, which makes for great days out for visitors. We are also a short walk away from the local park – a lovely day out for residents and their loved ones. The area around our homes has been named the ‘Best place to live in Scotland’ in a recent survey. The drive up to the home may not be very inspiring – we are liaising with the landlord of the closed home at the top of our road to make this more appealing. However the warmth of our welcome and quality of our care and service more than makes up for this. We hope you agree when you come to visit.
We have a vibrant Magic Moments programme based on our current resident interests and likes. Here’s just a taster of what’s on offer:
- Wednesday Afternoon Cinema Club
- Weekly Quiz
- Gardening Club starts in March each year
- Walking group – we walk around the local area including the canals
- Trips on the canal with The Seagull Trust
- Trips out to the Kelvin Grove art gallery and The People’s Palace
- Trips to Ayr, Largs and Blair Drummond Safari
We also have connections with local Churches that offer pastoral care visits and support residents to attend special services in the Church.
We are presently undergoing a refurbishment programme which will enhance the environment for the residents, this includes a sensory room.
