You’ll find Balmoral Care Home situated in the heart of South Yorkshire. We are only a short car ride away from Sheffield city centre, we also have great transport links, making us easily accessible for visitors to pop-in for a chat.
Our Care team offers many care types, including residential care for people who need a little help with daily tasks, as well as residential dementia care, where we support our residents to maintain their independence and individuality, encouraging social activity and building relationships within the home. We also provide nursing care for those with complex medical needs, and respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break.
Here at Balmoral Care Home, we love to actively encourage residents to take part in all decisions - contributing to everything from the way their room looks, to the therapies they receive.

Care Home Manager
Since a young age Lesley has been passionate about helping others and as she has a kind and helpful nature, it was evident a career in care was perfect for her. At the age of 16, Lesley started her career as a Care Assistant and has never looked back since. She has a plethora of skills and experience, which is why Lesley is a Registered Manager and knows how to provide a high standard of care.
Why did you decide to join Four Seasons Health Care?
I thought it was great that the company offers a wide range of support for residents, team members and Home Managers.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love being able to help our residents live a fulfilled life with lots of laughter and joy.
What are your favourite hobbies and pastimes?
I love swimming, going to family events and getting lost in a good book.
Are there any highlights in your career you are particularly proud of?
Previously, I contributed to the improvement of standards of care. I’m very proud that I’ve been able to help team members deliver the best care possible and to ensure residents receive a high standard of care.
What do you feel is your biggest achievement outside of your career?
I am an extremely family-minded individual, so my biggest achievement is my children and family!
What are your Qualifications?
At the age of 16, I became a Care Assistant and went on to gain my NVQ level 2 and 3. I progressed in my career taking on the roles of Senior Care Assistant and a Team Leader role. These roles gave me the experience to work in management, which I have done for the past six years.
