A Warm Welcome to Brockwell Court Care Home, Consett

"I have stayed here for respite over two months; I can not fault the home. I have enjoyed my stay, and all staff from carers, cleaners, laundry and activities have been excellent. The room is great and very clean, the food has been excellent, there is nothing negative I can possibly say."

You’ll find Brockwell Court Care Home right in the heart of Consett, near to the bus station and with it’s own private car park, making it convenient to visit loved ones.

Our Care team offers residential care for those who need help with daily tasks, as well as residential dementia care where we support our residents to maintain their independence and individuality, encouraging social activity and building relationships within the home. We also provide nursing care for people with complex medical needs.

At Brockwell Court we put the residents at the centre of our focus and encourage them to get involved with every part of their care.

We enjoy regular visits from children at the neighbouring nursery and school and share events in our landscaped gardens with them. We hold regular activities within our home, benefiting from a large conservatory space in which most are held, as well as organising outings in our mini bus for residents to enjoy.

Care Available and Weekly Fees

We provide care for those who are publicly funded as well as those paying for their own care. For those who are paying for their own care, our weekly fees are broken down by the main care types we offer.

*Nursing Care - Any contribution by the NHS for nursing care is paid directly to the care home and not included in these indicative prices.

Regulator Reports

Inspections are carried out at intervals determined by the inspectorate and homes are provided with a report, a rating and usually also some recommendations to help develop or improve the service. Any recommendations are acted upon promptly. No matter what the rating, it’s well worth having a chat with our team to get the latest on every aspect of our care and service. We’d be happy to talk through any questions you might have.
