A Warm Welcome to Grove House Care Home, Birkenhead
You’ll find Grove House Care Home is a purpose-built home, conveniently near to Birkenhead town centre. We are close by to local shops and public transport, making us easily accessible for visitors to pop-in for a chat.
Our Care team offers all types of care, including residential care for people who need help with daily tasks, as well as residential dementia care where we support residents to maintain their independence and individuality, encouraging social activity and building relationships within the home. We also provide nursing care to those who have complex medical needs, and nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions.
Our intermediate care is accredited as part of Four Seasons Intermediate Care Framework.
Outside we have lovely mature gardens, which our residents love to explore and enjoy. They particularly like to relax on our patio area whilst spending time with their family and friends.

Laura Faye-Parker
Care Home Manager
Laura has worked in the Health and Social Care sector for 14 years and has been with Grove House for over two years. Laura-Faye started her career with the NHS and during this time she won multiple awards for her work.
Why did you decide to join Four Seasons Health Care?
I liked that Four Seasons is a very supportive company as all the members of staff are happy to provide help where needed.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy seeing the difference we are making to people’s lives on a daily basis.
What are your favourite hobbies and pastimes?
I enjoy being creative, so my main hobbies are singing, gardening, knitting, crocheting and baking. I also love following Mrs Hinch on social media as she gives brilliant cleaning, organisation and lifestyle tips. A fun fact about myself is that I am a leap year baby, so I’ve only had eight official birthdays!
Are there any highlights in your career you are particularly proud of?
When working in the NHS I was nominated for a Proud Award in 2017 and in 2019. Since then I received a ROCK award from Four Seasons for going above and beyond in my job.
What do you feel is your biggest achievement outside of your career?
My biggest achievement is that I wanted to lose enough weight to climb Moel Famau in Wales. I lost 2 stone and was able to achieve this!
What are your Qualifications?
I worked in the NHS as a staff nurse for eight years before being promote to a Deputy Ward Manager for an acute respiratory ward. I worked in this position for two years, before joining Four Seasons as Deputy Manager of Grove House.
In December 2018, I was promoted to Clinical Manager of Grove House and in October 2019, I was appointed the role of Registered Manager. Also, I am a qualified student mentor and I have recently achieved my Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
