Hallgarth Care Home in County Durham

A warm welcome to Hallgarth Care Home in Durham

You’ll find Hallgarth Care Home situated in a quiet residential area just a short walk from Durham’s charming city centre. We are close by to the shops and a walk away from public transport, making us easily accessible for visitors to pop-in for a chat.

One of the leading care homes in Durham, our Care team offers residential care for people who need help with daily tasks, nursing care for those who have complex medical needs, intermediate care and respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break.

Hallgarth Care Home has also received positive assessments through carehome.co.uk.

We run a busy activities programme so residents are never without something to do, including themed days, poetry club, visiting entertainers, and day trips out, often to the Beamish Museum.

We have good community links and receive regular visits from Durham Cricket Club, Grays College, and Rhythm not Blues. Our residents love when people come along and visit as it allows them to interact with people outside of the home.
