I love to
I am a keen chocoholic and love spending time with family. I love holidays abroad and travelling.
I qualified as registered Nurse in 2008 and spent my early nursing years working in palliative care. I started working for Four Seasons at the end of 2015 as a home manager. Prior to this I had worked for a different care provider working in a young disabled unit caring for people with life limiting illnesses, brain injuries and palliative care needs. I then progressed to a clinical lead nurse, deputy manager and then became a home manager. In December 2016 I transferred to Hesslewood House from another Four Seasons care home I had been managing since joining the company.
I am passionate about
I am passionate about ensuring our residents are receiving good quality care and support. I believe that residents should continue to pursue their hobbies and interests supported by the team here at Hesselwood House. I also believe in being a family unit and therefore encourage and support families to continue to visit their loved ones as they would have done previously when they lived at home, weather it is a quick ten minutes or the whole day, we are happy to facilitate. As my background is Palliative Care I am passionate about the care people receive and ensuring it is the right care at the right time for the individual.
What I like about working for FSHC
Since starting my employment with Four Seasons I have always been well supported. I am able to pass this support to the staff at Hesselwood House which allows us to ensure that we also provide the correct support to our residents and families.
