With over 35 years of experience in the Health and Social Care Sector, Rosalind is highly experienced. She has been passionate about caring for the elderly from a young age and when she started to train as a Nurse, she was confident that it was the perfect career path for her. Rosalind has been with Lawn Park for 32 years and loves being a Home Manager.
Why did you decide to join Four Seasons Health Care?
I was very impressed with the excellent working conditions and that Four Seasons is a very supportive company. I have worked here for many, many years and I think it’s a brilliant place to work!
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love being a Home Manager and during the 32 years that I have been here, no two days are the same and that really excites me
What are your favourite hobbies and pastimes?
In my spare time, I enjoy socialising, gardening and walking my two beautiful dogs!
Are there any highlights in your career you are particularly proud of?
I’m very proud that myself and my very supportive, long serving team have constantly achieved a ‘Good’ rating for CQC and a ‘Band Five’ for Quality Banding from Nottingham City Council for many years.
What do you feel is your biggest achievement outside of your career?
My biggest achievement outside of my career is climbing Croagh Patrick Mountain, a sight of pilgrimage in the West of Ireland.
What are your Qualifications?
After completing my Nurse training, I became a Clinical Lead before progressing as a Deputy Home Manager. These experiences gave me the tools to become a Home Manager.
What top tips would you give someone when looking for the right care home?
I would recommend that you look around a few homes, look at their CQC report and choose the home that you felt the most comfortable visiting.
