What are your favourite hobbies and pastimes?
I am an avid reader and enjoy traveling and experiencing new places. I also

Are there any highlights in your career you are particularly proud of?
Receiving my level 5 certificate and my first registration certificate. My proudest moments are the timesI spend laughing with the residents as well as hosting events where we can welcome family and friends into the homes.
What do you feel is your biggest achievement outside of your career?
Can you tell us about your work experience and qualifications?
My career into the care sector started within mental health services. After spending several years within these services, gaining promotions and further qualifications, I moved into domiciliary care, taking on my first registered manager’s role. I realised then that my passion was with residential care and made the decision to move back into these services to further my management career.
I have held the position of registered manager in domiciliary care service and within care and nursing home since 2017. Within this time, I have gained my level 5 qualification in leadership and management.
What top tips would you give someone when looking for the right care home?
You have to feel like you are visiting your loved one in their own home, comfortable enough to throw your shoes off at the door and put your slippers on. When leaving and closing the door you should feel confident that they are safe and cared for.
