Our teams provide round-the-clock support with everyday activities such as washing, dressing, eating and staying on top of regular medication.
The aim is always to provide the appropriate level of help while also encouraging residents to maintain as much of their independence as possible.
Each of our homes has a carefully planned range of activities that encourage residents to go on doing the things that they enjoyed doing in their own home, or perhaps to learn some new pastimes or hobbies. It’s all about listening to people’s individual interests and capabilities and then focusing on them.
"I have only good things to say about the home. It is run like a home, not a business. It is a happy, loving environment where the residents are looked after in a kind and sympathetic way."
"They provide a high level of care and treat everyone as important people not objects and are very helpful to visitors to the facility."
Typical activities include gardening, baking, outings, gentle exercise, pet care and life-skills work. Other specialist activities to help people’s sense of well-being such as reminiscence therapy, music therapy and complementary physical therapies are also part of our activities programmes.
"I have lived here a while now and all I can say is, this is a fantastic home with great staff and an excellent manager who has helped me a lot. "
