A poem from Park House - Ribbons on railings

Below is a poem written by everyone at Park House Care Home in the Wirral to celebrate World Poetry Day.

Ribbons on Railings

It can mean so many things.
When you see ribbon on railings,
A fair in town,
A stage for a clown.
Lifes successes or failings.

It can be a bittersweet thing,
When you see ribbons on a railing,
Loss at its gravest,
Or to remember the bravest
On wings of light, they go sailing.
