On Wednesday 6th July 2016, over 3,000 bikers had a pit stop in Barton upon Humber as part of the ‘Bikers Night’ 20th Anniversary celebrations.
Alison Hudspeth-Lamb, Home Manager for Beech House Care Home in Barton upon Humber, explained: “The street was full of stalls. Visitors flocked to see what goodies were on offer, as well as looking at all the bikes.
“Residents from Beech House ran the Tombola stall and got the chance to share their experiences with the bikers. Everyone had a lovely day and we managed to raise some money for our resident’s fund. I think if some of the residents had their way, they would have been off gallivanting with the bikers.”
