Residents at Beech House Care Home in Barton-upon-humber got festively crafty as they began making personalised decorations for their home and Christmas cards for their loved ones.
Alison Hudspeth-Lamb, Home Manager, explained: “The residents enjoyed creating their own bespoke Christmas decorations and cards. They put a lot of care and attention into them and loved their finished products. The snowmen now stand pride of place in the home, and the cards have been distributed.”
The home was also visited by a naughty elf as Home Manager Alison, dressed up to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association.
She added: “Dressing up as an elf was so much fun. The residents enjoyed getting me into trouble so they could report back to Santa. I want to thank everyone who donated to this good cause. It will help to fight the good fight against a terrible disease
