Birds of prey take a flight to Chiltern Court

The residents at Chiltern Court Care Home in Wendover had a treat when they were visited by a local birds of prey sanctuary that brought along some feathered friends for them to get up close with.

With some keen bird watchers amongst the residents, the team arranged for the birds of prey to come along to the home for an indoor display of various different breeds. Those feeling brave enough were able to hold and stroke the birds. The demonstrator spoke a lot about the habits of each bird which residents found extremely interesting.

Jane Meadows, Home Manager, told us “we all really enjoyed the birds of prey coming to Chiltern Court – the display was very interesting and it gave some residents the chance to see something they may never have seen before”.
