A resident at Murdoch House Care Home in Wokingham recently reached the milestone of 100 years old. The team arranged a gathering at the home for her to share the special day with family and friends and of course with Birthday cake.
Bertha Spicer, resident at Murdoch House, celebrated her special day on 13th January at the home. She had a wonderful day and was joined by her closest friends and relatives for a Birthday party put together by the team. Bertha joins 5 other ladies at Murdoch in the 100 years old club, ranging from 100 – 105 years old.
Christine Tyrrell, Home Manager, told us “What a lovely day we all had for Bertha’s special day. She was joined by all the people that mean most to her so they could all share the milestone with her. Bertha was extremely happy to receive her Birthday card from the Queen to mark her 100th Birthday”.
