Going out on a trip is always exciting. This was certainly the case for residents at Bracknell Care Home in Bracknell. They were extra excited as they boarded the minibus last week as they went on another mystery tour.
Natsayi Dunira, Home Manager, explained: “We know how important it is for our residents to get out and about. Here at Bracknell we like to provide special experiences for our residents, so we arrange these mystery tours for them.”
Their most recent tour took them around Maidenhead and the river with a stop off point being at Dorney Court Kitchen Gardens. Whilst the residents were in the gardens they enjoyed a lovely cup of tea and delicious scones whilst taking in the beautiful views. Dorney Court is a beautiful 450 year old manor house, and once the residents had had their fill looking around the picturesque gardens and the manor itself, they had a little look in the garden centre to get some inspiration for when they came home.
