Ringshill, Midfield Lodge and Swan House all took a last minute decision to put together a charity football match in order to raise money for a charity close to them all.
The impromptu event took place at a local football pitch in Huntingdon and saw the homes raise funds to support the British Heart Foundation. Friends and families of the players gathered to watch the matches and everyone had a great afternoon.
Katie Wilkinson, Home Manager at Ringshill Care Home in Huntingdon, said: "Although it was a last minute decision, we all had a great time at the charity match - everyone was a great sport. We're now planning to do this as a yearly event in order to raise money for charity - hopefully next year the event will be a little bigger so we can support the charity even further."
