Catering to our resident’s dietary requirements and nutritional needs is part and parcel of the day to day service provided by our care teams.
Kerran Fisher (Senior Care Assistant) and Rosemary Jalloh (Charge Nurse) represented Campsie View Care Home in Glasgow at the Nutrition Champion Event.
Katy Jenks, Home Manager, explained: “The two ladies talked about how we’ve introduced new snack options for textured modified diets which has helped us to cater to our residents as individuals, therefore improving the care we provide at our home. The ladies also got some ideas of new things our residents can try, which is slightly different to the norm.”
Last week also saw the home bid a fond farewell to Personal Activities Leader Gemma Ross as she left on maternity leave.
Katy Jenks, Home Manager, added: “We threw a baby shower for Gemma to make sure she has everything she needs to start her new adventure. We all can’t wait for cuddles when the little one arrives.”
