Finding food that everyone likes can often be a challenge. We all have our likes and dislikes, and nothing can beat a traditional Sunday roast.
The team at Charnwood Care Home in Carlton wanted to spice things up for the residents, by introducing foods from different countries for the residents to sample.
Lesley Wright, Home Manager, said: “We thought it would be a nice idea to get the residents trying thing they don’t have every day. The food samples varied from the ‘safe’ items such as croissants, pizza and scotch pancakes to the more exotic curries.
“The food went down extremely well. Only the crumbs were left at the end. Some of the residents have even suggested making some of the food they tasted a regular feature on the menu.”
