Residents from Courtenay House Care Home in Kings Lynn enjoyed fish and chips by the sea, as they enjoyed a number of summer outings.
John Watts, Home Manager, explained: “The residents made the most of the beautiful weather and took a trip to Wells on Sea. Many of our residents visited the seaside town in their youth and with their families. It was a lovely day and the residents visited Wells on Sea many times during the summer months to reminisce about the good times and of course indulge in fish and chips.”
When they weren’t eating fish and chips by the seaside, residents were tucking into afternoon tea at Creake Abbey deep in the ruins of the old Abbey.
Since returning to the home the residents are planning their trips for the August months, to see what special memories they can make.
