The care team at Dounemount Care Home in Macduff have been keeping residents busy by making sure they have lots to keep them entertained.
First on the agenda, local entertainer ‘Monty’ got everyone in the singing and dancing mood. The residents belted out some of their favourite songs from across the years.
Once the musical intermission was finished, the residents welcomed some four legged friends into the home as part of their Pet Therapy sessions.
Kay Robertson, Home Manager, said: “The residents loved seeing the dogs who relished all of the attention they were given. The time they spent with us seemed to go far too quick!”
Finally, a couple of residents took a trip down memory lane as they visited the library in Macduff.
Kay Robertson, Home Manager, said: “Angela, our Personal Activities Lead took the residents to the library. The librarian, Majorie Nicholson, did a fantastic job sourcing some pictures of Macduff from our residents’ childhood. They had a lovely afternoon reminiscing.”
