International Joke Day took a worldwide tour at Dounemount Care Home in Macduff, as residents and the team dressed up and provided comedic entertainment from various countries across the globe.
Kay Robertson, Home Manager, said: “The home was filled with lots of laughter. It appeared the worse the joke was, the more of a laugh it got. Everyone in the home got involved, and it was just a day of silliness, giving everyone a chance to embrace the joke day spirit.
“Some of the fancy dress costumes depicted Australia and Jamaica, so some of the jokes and accents that people were trying to do added an extra layer to the fun. It’s safe to say some of our sides were splitting and there were definitely some proper belly laughs from everyone at the home.”
