East Riding Care Home in Morpeth is celebrating the success of Care Assistant Karen Donnelly after she successfully graduated from the Care Home Assistant Practitioner (CHAP) programme.
Kirsty Crozier, Home Manager said: “Everyone here congratulates Karen on her success. We’ve supported her every step of the way and it’s great to see her hard work pay off. Karen is a great asset to the home, and provides fantastic support to the residents here. She’s a great part of the team. Well done again! I can’t wait to see you putting your new skills to use.”
The newly qualified CHAP is now able to provide some general nurse duties, such as medication rounds. This benefit’s the home as it enables the nurse to deal with more complex issues.
