As something different around Christmas, Ringshill Care Home in Huntingdon invited a local rhythm group to come and perform for the residents. The performers specialised in Egyptian dance which was something new for everyone.
In amongst the Christmas celebrations, the team wanted to try something a little different. Rhythm of Egypt visited the home to help the residents learn a new style of dance they hadn’t seen before. They taught the residents some moves and spoke about the history of Egyptian dance.
Katie Wilkinson, Care Home Manager, told us “It was something a little different for the residents to enjoy in the run up to Christmas. It was also a chance for us all to learn something new – the team especially were up on their feet trying out the new moves. We all had a wonderful day”.
