A little thank you can go a long long way. This was certainly the case at Laurels Lodge Care Home in Woodside on Tuesday 5th July.
Sheila Gesma, Home Manager, explains: “One of our resident’s family came in to see me and the team. They presented us with a thank you card for the care we provided their mum during her time her with us at Woodside. It was lovely to get appreciated and was a nice little bit of recognition for the team. I’m very proud of everyone here at Laurels Lodge.”
Calae, the daughter of the resident said: “I and my family were so lucky to find Laurels Lodge. The love, care and attention given to Mum in the last two years of her life were second to none! I would not hesitate to recommend your home, staff and care to anyone looking to place their loved one in Care!”
Morag Leslie, a member of the team at Laurels Lodge said: “It was lovely to get a thank you. It reiterated the fact that we all feel we do everything in our power to keep our residents and their families happy, by providing a great level of care and support. Receiving a thank you card and letter reminds us that our job is worthwhile and it gives us a great sense of pride and achievement.”
