Senior Carer crowned ‘Our Values Champion’ for Four Seasons

Natalie Hearn, Senior Carer at Woodview Care Home in Lincoln has been crowned ‘Our Values Champion’ at the first Four Season’s Care Awards.

The award Natalie has won commends her for living and breathing the company values whilst working in Woodview Care Home. Natalie was able to demonstrate how she brings a little joy to everyday experiences, whilst always being respectful, trusted, caring and making a difference to the residents and relatives in Woodview Care Home.

Following over 1,200 nominations, Natalie was shortlisted with five other colleagues from over 300 Four Season’s Care Homes across the UK.

Louise Cherry, People Director for Four Seasons Health Care presented Natalie with this award said: “Speaking with Natalie it was clear to me and the other judges that she was a worthy winner of this award. She has a fantastic connection with the residents and relatives, is a bundle of positive energy who works well with her colleagues not only so they do their utmost for the residents. She definitely brings a little bit of joy to everyone at Woodview. Well done Natalie.”

Louise Lawson, Home Manager for Woodview Care Home said: “Natalie has been at Woodview for 16 years. She’s a fantastic asset to the home, making sure everyone is OK as soon as she walks through the door. She spends the time to get to know our residents on an individual basis and will even treat them to a song or two from their favourite musician.

“She has a very positive effect on the team, and finds solutions to any problems they raise. She is a fantastic motivator, helping her team to make a difference on a daily basis. I am very proud that Natalie has won this award.”

On receiving the award, Natalie said: “I was over the moon when I found out I was nominated. It means so much to me. It means I must be doing something right. I am completely shocked and humbled to have won. I feel no different to anyone else, not special in any way, but I am privileged to be highly thought of by my colleagues.”
