Fun and laughter have been in the air at Woodlands Care Home in Mirfield, as the residents have enjoyed a number of special experiences.
Here at Four Seasons we pride ourselves on providing Specialist Resident Experiences.
The first of these special experiences was a boat trip on ‘The Lady Rhodes’. The ladies and gents from Woodlands enjoyed a picnic on the boat, complete with cream cakes and homemade soup.
The passengers were all offered the chance to take the tiller and have a go at steering the boat. When the tiller was handed over to the captain, the boat was filled with song, as everyone sang 50s and 60s songs to the ducks, geese and swans.
Once the residents had their feet back on dry land, they welcomed Ukulele Henry in to the home. Some of the residents sang duets with him and everyone who attended had a fabulous time.
More excursions and entertainers are planned in the coming weeks, so watch this space.
