Personal Activities Leader donates her hair to make wigs for children

Fiona Pratt, Personal Activities Leader at Gowrie House Care Home in Kirkcaldy had her hair cut off for two worthy causes last week.

Anjie Restar, Home Manager, explained: “Fiona cut her lovely long hair off to raise money for our resident’s fund. However, Fiona’s selflessness didn’t stop there. She has donated her hair to make wigs for poorly children which is a very admirable thing to do. Well done Fiona we’re so proud of you.”

Fiona raised £200 for the Resident’s Fund. The money will be used to provide special experiences for the residents at the home.
