We all have that one band that is our guilty pleasure. We like to listen to them because they bring back a whole host of emotions and memories.
On Friday 5th August 2016, Hallgarth Care Home in Durham hosted a music afternoon, welcoming local band ‘Ndulgence’.
Angela Muir, Home Manager, explained: “The sounds coming from Hallgarth Care Home on Friday were brilliant. We all indulged in our guilty pleasure listening to Ndulgence. Mike on vocals is the husband of one of our residents, Anne, who sat pride of place in the front row for the show.
“A lovely afternoon was had by all. The group are always enjoyed and everyone looks forward to seeing them. We all even have our own favourite songs, which include Brenda singing ‘The Rose’, also ‘I’m a one man band’ which gets everyone singing. You can still hear the tune from ‘I’m a one man band’ hours after Ndulgence leave as everyone hums and sings it for the rest of the day.”
