The Paralympics is well underway, with the athletes already continuing the medal success of the Rio Olympics.
To mark the occasion, the team at Holywood Care Home in Belfast held their own Olympic Games, which lasted the same two weeks as that of Rio.
The care team and residents were split into 8 teams from across the world. Taking part in a variety of games including: the ring toss, egg and spoon zimmer frame race, egg hunt and bean bag toss to name a few.
Mauro Magbitang, Home Manager, said: “The Holywood Olympics was a great success. It has reignited the team spirit which we’re all blessed with here. Everyone involved had a lot of fun with the laughter being heard for miles around. I’m proud of everyone here at Holywood, many of whom have a collection of medals to show off.”
