Providing special resident experiences is a vital part of what our care home teams do at Four Seasons. This means that homes look for innovative ways to raise money for the residents fund, enabling trips and activities to take place.
The team and some of the residents from Riverside View Care Home in Darlington took part in the ‘Walk to Roseberry Topping’. Once they reached the summit, they all posed for a group picture before taking in the picturesque views of North Yorkshire and Cleveland.
Claire Westmorland, Care Home Manager, said: “I’m very proud of everyone who took part. This is our second year of doing a sponsored walk, and the fact that we’ve raised so much money to benefit the residents is fantastic. It was the motivation we needed to make it to the summit. Everyone looks forward to taking part in the event, and planning is already underway for 2017.”
