This poem was written by everyone at Kingswood Lodge Care Centre in Wotton-Under-Edge
There is a place called Kingswood Lodge,
Where people live with pride,
We take care of the elderly,
To whom we do abide.
We look after your washing,
And make a tidy bed,
The cleaning is done daily and,
We make sure that you're fed.
And on a bright and sunny day,
We'll take a stroll or a ride,
To the back lanes of the village,
Where the wildlife likes to hide.
Angela, our caretaker boss,
Has all of your interests at heart,
There's Tracy, the clever nurse,
Who moves around like a dart.
Dap and Sue the housekeepers,
With Ange and Demi-Leigh,
Steve and Keith the gardeners,
Who you'll often see.
There's Michelle in the office,
and caregivers galore,
Jason in the kitchen,
And so much more...
